Vanessa Springett is a true community advocate who shows up and gets things done. We’ve been next-door neighbors since before her children were born, and they are now young adults. I couldn’t have been more fortunate in the next-door-neighbor lottery. Whenever folks in our neighborhood face crises, myself included, Vanessa is always front and center. She identifies the difficulty and offers solutions, often being the first to organize a meal train, share resources, and jump in to help.
Vanessa pays attention, and once she identifies a situation, she takes care of business. She is fearless. When problems arise, she doesn’t ignore them. Instead, she invites conversation, does her research, figures things out, considers alternatives, and moves forward in a rational, measured manner. I trust Vanessa Springett to do the humane and moral thing in every situation, and I believe she would serve our community well on the Poway City Council.

I'm Endorsing Vanessa Springett! What a pleasure for me to endorse Vanessa for Poway City Council as I have known her since her middle school years and can do so without reservation. I have lived in Green Valley for 50 years, and from the first month that I arrived, have been involved with the Green Valley Civic Association. I've served as president a couple of times and am currently on the Board of GVCA. It is through this association that I have observed Vanessa Springett grow into a truly community advocate, working on various community projects, serving her HOA, and most recently, joining the GVCA Board herself. You can be sure that Vanessa will serve with devotion to the needs and wishes of the voters she represents. She digs into details. She sorts the wheat from the chaff. She won't be snowed by the whims of developers. She will, I am certain, be the most honorable of Council Members. Please vote for Vanessa.
- Jack Tripp, GVCA Board Member
